November 14

Shame on me....
Here I am dragging my ass lost and whining about pain.
I had forgotten why I am here.

This is the official permission form for anyone who knows me to give me a
boot in the ass.

It is not everyday or in fact some people go there entire lives, and never
achieve their dreams. Not even a one, often wishing they had made other choices,
or dreaming of a better life.
And here I have been given my dream
I wanted this, and I have gotten here on my efforts, and on the backs of so
many friends and family who lifted me up just to get here.
It is to all of you, and for all of you that this dream must reach completion.
Thank you all for your support.
Guess Eddie will have to be the one putting the whip to me here, since the
rest of you are a bit far.

Well this morning I dragged my rear out of bed an hour later than normal, and
was lost in limbo till the early afternoon.

Well I met the real magician today.
A small foundry shop hidden in amongst the buildings, not just 3 houses from
my hotel.
And here was a man who could create a hybrid flange, a cross from the
Brazilian style and Canadian into one that works....
well lets put it to the test.....
and you know me I really put tools to the test...

This afternoon I set in the groove and started shaping the other side.
As I started to realize where I was things start to flow....

Eddie's son stopped by to say hi and dropped of some Chi-Cha s

The equivalent of bacon puffs.
Actually they were pretty good, and spiced in 3 different flavors.
They were shared and enjoyed by the other sculptors...
So a thanks there from everyone.

And soo another day rolls to a close.

Soon I will be in the final carving stages, and in about 3 days, I will do
some evening carving.
Some times lines and ideas start to flow late at night, so I think for a few
evenings, I will be doing some carving into the dark hours....

Today pictures are of the evening as the sun settled behind the mountains.
looks a little brighter in the pictures than it actually was.
And my production to date.

I hope tomorrow I still remember why I am here and things go as smooth as
this afternoon.
Some of the sculptors, are going to the beach. But I do not feel I am at a
place yet where completion is in grasp, so I will work, and enjoy a quiet
day...
later
